Prophet Muhammad, the founder of Islam, remains one of the most influential figures in history. Revered by Muslims around the world, his life and teachings have had a profound impact on countless individuals. While many people are familiar with the Arabian roots of the Prophet, often overlooked is his African ancestry, which played a significant role in shaping his identity and enriching his heritage.

In this article, we will delve into the lesser-known aspects of Prophet Muhammad's African lineage, unraveling the diverse tapestry of his ancestry and shedding light on the multicultural heritage that contributed to his remarkable character.

The African Roots of Prophet Muhammad

Prophet Muhammad's African ancestry can be traced back to his great-grandmother, Salma bint Amr Al-Najjar, affectionately known as Umm Ayman. Born in Africa, Umm Ayman was a devout Muslim and a trusted companion of the Prophet throughout his life. She was one of the earliest converts to Islam and played a vital role in the upbringing of Prophet Muhammad after the passing of his mother, Aminah bint Wahb.

Furthermore, Umm Ayman's son, Barakah, also known as Abu Dharr Al-Ghifari, became one of the most loyal and devoted followers of the Prophet. His unwavering support and commitment to spreading Islam exemplified the influence of Prophet Muhammad's African lineage.

Africa's Influences on Prophet Muhammad

The impact of Prophet Muhammad's African ancestry extended beyond blood ties. African culture, traditions, and customs infused his upbringing, worldview, and teachings, shaping his perspective on social justice, equality, and resistance against oppression.

Africa's rich history of diverse civilizations, including ancient Egypt, Abyssinia (modern-day Ethiopia and Eritrea),and the Kingdom of Ghana, all contributed to the fabric of Prophet Muhammad's heritage. Exposure to these diverse cultures instilled in him a deep appreciation for inclusivity, the importance of education, and the pursuit of social harmony.

Moreover, the inclusion of African slaves and freedmen within the community of Muslims during the time of Prophet Muhammad demonstrates his commitment to racial and social equality. He granted them rights and protections, contradicting the prevailing societal norms of the time and sending a powerful message of unity and empowerment.

The Legacy of Prophet Muhammad's African Ancestry

Prophet Muhammad's African lineage continues to resonate with millions of Muslims worldwide. It serves as a reminder of the inherent multiculturalism within the Islamic faith and the importance of embracing diversity and equality.

Furthermore, the African ancestry of the Prophet highlights the historical ties between the Arab and African worlds, dispelling the notion that Islam is solely an "Arab religion." It underscores the universality of the faith and the capacity for unity among diverse peoples.

Embracing Our Shared Heritage

Recognizing and acknowledging the African ancestry of Prophet Muhammad is crucial in understanding Islam as a global religion. It necessitates a reevaluation of preconceived notions and narratives surrounding the faith.

By embracing the multicultural heritage of the Prophet, we can foster greater inclusivity and understanding within our communities. We should strive to celebrate the rich tapestry of backgrounds and ethnicities represented among Muslims, reinforcing the idea that Islam is a religion built on unity, love, and acceptance.

Let us herald the African ancestry of Prophet Muhammad as a testament to the power of diversity and a catalyst for creating a more harmonious world.

This book is a rare insight into the African ancestry of Prophet Muhammad SallAllahu Alaihi Wassalam.
The truth of the matter is that both conventional Islamic scholarship and Western scholarship have deliberately overlooked the African connections of early Islam and the undeniable African ancestry and African genealogy of Prophet Muhammad.
Conventional Islamic scholarship have deliberately overlooked the African ancestry and genealogy of Prophet Muhammad because when the Islamic capitals shifted from Mecca and Madina in the Hijaz to Persia the White races hijacked the leadership of Islam from the original Black African Negro Arabs who founded Islam.
And Western scholarship is naturally racist and biased against Black Africa so it is natural for Western scholarship to completely whitewash Islamic history into a White man鈥檚 history.
But there are overwhelming documentary evidences demonstrating the fact that in the days of Prophet Muhammad the Arabs were a Black African Negro people and that the Quraish were actually a Black African Negro people.
The Quraish originally came from Africa as a Black African Negro people and were still basically a Black African Negro people by the time Prophet Muhammad was born.
That the Quraish are Black African Negroes means that the ancestry and genealogy of Prophet Muhammad traces back to Black African Negro roots.
In this book I took the time to point out the Black African Negro complexions and physiognomies of many of the family members and relatives of Prophet Muhammad.
In this book I also discussed in some details the African roots of Islam. I demonstrated the fact that there are so many African traits and values woven into the fabrics of Islam that are mostly overlooked by conventional scholarship.
These are the details I discussed in this book.
